Jason-Aeric’s mastery of two different and profound healing arts was possible because he began studying at such an early age. Mystically inclined as a child, he loved nature, art, and creative play and read everything he could find regarding mythology, world religions, and spiritual traditions.

The concept of the Field, the Vital Force of the cosmos, and of the interconnectivity of all beings and the cosmos absolutely thrilled him.

The progressive education he received at the Saint Paul Open School (Minnesota), the first charter school in the nation, further encouraged his exploring mind.

He began studying astrology when he was 11-years old and began professional practice when he was only 18, working at Stonehenge Rocks & Rituals for the next ten years.

Meanwhile, he had already started studying hospice care, with mentorship from hospice nurses, when he was 16, and past-life regression therapies the following year.

He began studying Tibetan Buddhism and classical homeopathy shortly after graduating from high school.

Jason-Aeric was fortunate not only to have an early start in studying these varied healing modalities, he also had gifted teachers from an early age, including Miriam Katz (past life regression therapies) and Patricia Marable (astrology), both in his home town of Saint Paul, Minnesota.

His study of Tibetan Buddhism began with the teachings of Pema Chödrön and Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche, two of the great Tibetan Buddhist teachers of our time.

Jason-Aeric’s personal healing journey and spiritual development are intimately connected with his practice of healing, spirituality, and transformation. Thus he began his homeopathic treatment and his study of classical homeopathy at the same time with his first and most influential teacher, the nationally-renowned homeopath Valerie Ohanian, CCH, RSHom (NA).

Val gave him two books the day he met her: James Tyler Kent’s Lectures on Homoeopathic Philosophy and George Vithoulkas’ The Science of Homeopathy. As a devoted student of homeopathy, he read these two books once a year for eleven years before enrolling in the Northwestern Academy of Homeopathy in Minneapolis in 2001.

Eric Sommerman, PhD, CCH, RSHom (NA) (co-founder of Northwest Academy along with Val Ohanian) became his second most influential teacher and mentor. His other core teachers were faculty members Laurie Dack, CCH, RSHom (NA) and Karim Adal, MD.

In the years between discovering homeopathy and enrolling in the school, Jason-Aeric continued his mastery of a wide variety of modalities: Holistic Health Studies and Chemical Dependency & Family Treatment Counseling at College of St. Catherine, Minneapolis Minnesota; the Astrological Applications Program of nationally-renowned astrologer Moonrabbit, in Minneapolis; as well as ten years of studying astrology with Brenda Brush, of Hollywood, Florida; and Individuation and Homeopathy with Edward Whitmont, MD, a homeopathic physician and Jungian analyst. In fact, he became certified in Transpersonal Psychology with the Psychosynthesis Institute of Minnesota.

Ever eager for more tools to deepen his work with his clients, Jason-Aeric has continued to study homeopathy long beyond his graduation from the Northwestern Academy in 2005.

He has studied with some of the great teachers of our time, including Jeremy Sherr (completing the Dynamis School in 2008) and Lou Klein (completing the Homeopathic Master Clinician Course in 2011).

He is currently studying with and influenced by the heart-centered approach of Dr. Jayesh Shah.

Now serving on the faculty of the Northwestern Academy, he conducts homeopathic research which has gained recognition worldwide.

In addition, he continues to deepen his own inner work, for example through the completing the Hoffman Institute’s Quadrinity Process, an exquisite way of freeing oneself from self-sabotaging patterns and outworn beliefs, in July 2005.

Jason-Aeric was introduced to yoga as a spiritual path by Tara Cindy Sherman in June 1990. In 2011, Marcia Seim Brown introduced him to the Yoga Loft, in Willmar, Minnesota, and he completed his 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training with Mary Beth Nehl, in Willmar, Minnesota, in April 2012. He is presently in his 500-hour Yoga Teacher Training. Jason-Aeric may recommend particular asana (postures) for his clients depending on their individual obstacles and concerns.

He is currently studying and practicing Tibetan Buddhist healing techniques based on the teachings of Lama Tsultrim Allione and a variety of Tantric shamanic practices.

Jason-Aeric Huenecke is certified through the Council for Homeopathic Certification (CCH) and is registered with the North American Society of HomeopathsRSHom (NA). He is also a Certified Astrological Professional through the International Society of Astrological Research.
